David was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. After graduating from Mary Carroll Highschool at 18, David was accepted into Baylor University. In 2012 David graduated from Baylor University with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in History. He was then accepted into what was then Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2013 the Wesleyan School of Law was bought by Texas A&M University. David was part of the 2nd graduating class of Texas A&M Law School.
After graduating with a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M Law School, David returned to his hometown of Corpus Christi where he began to practice Family Law. While living in Corpus Christi he joined the Corpus Christi Bar Association, the bar association’s family division and the Corpus Christi Young Lawyer’s Association. As a member of the family division and Corpus Christi Young Lawyers Association he advanced through the ranks to ultimately hold the position of president of both of those organizations in 2019-2020. Eventually in 2021 he moved to San Antonio to practice law.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife Jennive, their dog Chianti and cat Lemon. He is a big fan of gardening, often growing many of the vegetables and herbs he uses to cook in the kitchen. He is always trying recipes from a variety of cuisines and cultures. David describes himself as a foody and often tries to experience new cuisines at home or at various local restaurants. Outside of food, David is an avid reader with a collection of well over 1000 books.
